Meet Janet Dickey
Head Coach | Certified Mindset Coach | Founder of Victory Mindsets
Janet Dickey brings over three decades of coaching excellence to the field. Now entering her 35th season as Head Coach of the Westbrook High School (CT) field hockey team, Janet has led one of the smallest programs in the state to become a respected powerhouse.
Her accomplishments speak for themselves:
- CFHCA Hall of Fame Inductee (2023)
- CTHSCA Hall of Fame Inductee (2025)
- 2× CTHSCA Coach of the Year
- 2024 Shoreline Conference Coach of the Year
Driven by a passion for helping athletes succeed both on and off the field, Janet became a certified mindset coach in 2019 and founded Victory Mindsets. Her mission is to empower coaches and athletes with mental performance tools that are simple, effective, and proven to deliver results.
Through Victory Mindsets, Janet shares strategies that have helped transform individual confidence, team chemistry, and game-day performance—tools she still uses with her own team today.
